MEDIA RELEASE

A Coventry printing company is expanding into a new home and is investing £60,000 in its future growth.

Zoom Digital Print Ltd was formed by business partners Peter Doyle and Richard Smith on the Binley Industrial Estate in 2008.

Over the past five years, the firm has grown and now employs four further staff and offers a range of printing services to clients from a variety of sectors including education and construction.

The company has been assisted in its move to Amphion Business Park, near the Ricoh Arena, by commercial property agents Reeves & Partners, which acted on behalf of the pension fund which owns the building.

Two more staff will be added following the move, while the company is investing in new printing technology to add to the services it can offer to clients.

Peter said: "Richard and I worked for the same company for around 15 years but the firm fell on hard times as the recession hit and we both found ourselves out of a job.

"We chatted about what to do next, and decided that we should go for it and start up on our own.

"Since day one, we've committed to customer service and to investing in technology. Every penny we earn in profit is reinvested into the best technology and that has helped us to grow.

"We offer clients competitive high quality colour and mono print as well as print management solutions, which means if, for instance, they regularly need business cards, they can make changes via the web, place an order and have them delivered the next day. It's proving to be very popular."

Lucie Byron, of Newsome Vaughan, carried out the legals on the deal while Richard Pomfret, of Reeves & Partners, found Zoom Digital Print as the tenant.

Pomfret said: "This was a great deal all round. The landlord has only recently purchased the property and we are very pleased to have secured such an early letting.

"And, from Zoom Digital Print's point of view, they have found an ideal new home in a great location that will help them to achieve their expansion plans.

"We are delighted that we have been able to assist both!"
