Reeves and Partners has sold a 0.8 acre site in Lythalls Lane

The demand for small freehold commercial and residential sites in Coventry remains strong, declares a leading property agent after completing two deals worth a total of £1 million.

Reeves and Partners has sold a 0.8 acre site in Lythalls Lane and a former school site in Roland Avenue on behalf of private clients.

The site in Lythalls Lane was sold to the existing tenants, Blue Ribbon Motors Ltd, for in excess of half a million pounds.

The former school was purchased by Diamond Construction Ltd which has since obtained planning consent for a residential development of detached and semi-detached family homes which are anticipated to be completed next year.

Richard Pomfret, of Reeves and Partners who handles the sales, said: "We had a lot of interest in the two sites, sufficient for both to be sold by way of best and final bids.

"There is high demand from investors and owner occupiers, particularly for commercial premises with good yardage."

Following this success, Reeves and Partners is now instructed on a further 1.1 acre site in Lythalls Lane.

Richard added: "The site has a guide price of £750,000 and is currently occupied by two tenants whose businesses are unaffected, but vacant possession would be possible on 0.8 acres."
